October 26, 2022.- The Corporate Association of Specialized Travel Agencies (ACAVe) began yesterday at the Radisson Collection hotel Gran Vía in Bilbao a new autumn round of the ACAVe Travel Market Tour, an itinerary of presentations throughout Spain designed to exposing first-hand to travel agents the latest developments in tourism services and products from the key operators in the sector.

The manager of ACAVE, Catiana Tur, welcomed and made a good balance of the summer season and commented on the prospects that the sector has for the coming months: "despite the uncertainty caused by the conflict in Ukraine and the corresponding inflation, travel agencies have not noticed the feared slowdown that some predicted for the fall. The number of reservations has been reduced compared to the summer but the activity is maintained”.

In the first presentation, Samuel Durán, commercial technician at Beroni, spoke about BGS Sign Contract, a service that digitizes the creation and management of combined travel contracts in an easy way. Next, Robert Galera, Sales & Marketing executive of Expedia TAAP, presented the novelties that have been introduced in the platform with new payment options. Raquel Bringas, PortAventura World National Sales, presented the theme resort's new Halloween season both in its parks and in the complex's hotels. Montse Balmes, Sales Manager - Large Accounts at Puy du Fou Spain invited attendees to discover the adventure of history offered by this theme park specializing in large-format historical shows. For her part, Ana Diaz, Spain Country Manager of Ratehawk, presented this reservation platform with 1.7 million available accommodations worldwide. Next, José Luis Mesa – Sales Executive of Sandos Hotels & Resorts focused his presentation on the Sandos experience in its hotels for this winter season. Oriol Balmaña, Tour Operator Sales Manager of Travelkids, presented the proposals for magical trips for this season.

The seventh edition of Member´s Night becomes a message of optimism about the recovery of the sector.  More than 150 members gathered on the Paseo Marítimo in Barcelona in a festive atmosphere after two years of the pandemic. 

The Corporate Association of Specialized Travel Agencies (ACAVE) celebrated last Thursday night, June 30, at the Red Fish restaurant on the Barcelona beach, the VII Member´s Night, with the assistance of more of 150 guests who enjoyed the annual event of the sector in a festive and relaxed networking environment. The event had the support and participation of Barcelona City Council, Qatar Airways, Qatar Tourism and ERGO.
